II. 🧱 MECHANICAL NOTES

Mechanic Effect
Bond Check Required for elite cards — only usable by those who’ve earned favor (e.g., after a boss kill or rite)
Wild Echo Cards grow in power if you’ve summoned the same beast repeatedly
Weapon Clash If multiple players use the same armamentbind, they may resonate (fusion) or repel (feedback damage)

Excellent choice — The Warden’s Arsenal it is.

Let’s now expand the system with sub-rules for how you tame, forge, and evolve the bound entities that form the core of this deck.

🛠️ THE WARDEN’S ARSENAL — Sub-Rules Expansion

“What you kill becomes memory. What you master becomes yours.”

🐾 TAMING — Bonding Beasts & Spirits

To Tame a creature or wild spirit is to bind its essence into card-form. Taming is not instant — it’s a multi-step ritual or combat process:

🪶 Taming Methods:

Method Example
Submission Defeat a creature without killing it (bring to 1 HP, then channel Void or Beastsong)
Ritual Binding Use bait + blood offering + pact circle to channel its echo into a blank card
Emotional Bond Spare a creature and protect it multiple times — earns loyalty
Totem Marking Defeat alpha of a pack — all minor versions become tamable

🧩 Taming Challenges:

⚒️ II. FORGING — Weapon & Relic Creation

Forging weapons into Armamentbind cards follows a path of craft + memory:

🔨 Forging Process:

  1. Acquire Materials: Use bones, fangs, molten ore, godsteel fragments, etc.
  2. Create Weapon: Requires smithing skill or access to a forge-station
  3. Imprint Memory: Defeat a powerful foe or survive a defining battle while wielding it
  4. Seal as Card: Use a Fatebinder or Soulplate to lock its echo into card-form

💥 Weapon Traits Can Include:

🧬 III. EVOLUTION — Growing Bonded Entities

Some creatures and weapons can evolve, gaining new forms, effects, or loyalty.

🧠 Evolution Triggers:

Trigger Type Example
Battle Mastery Use same card 10+ times → unlock “True Name” upgrade
Shared Wounds Survive combat at 1 HP with beast summoned → unlock permanent loyalty
Item Fusion Feed relics to summoned creature to mutate its form
Ancestral Rite Discover its origin (e.g. Beast’s true species, Weapon’s original wielder) and reforge it

🔄 Evolution Paths:

💡 An evolved card becomes a “Linked Echo” — the card remembers the caster too.
