The Hollow Suit is a Void-bound deck that doesn’t cast spells — it remembers them. Each card is a bound memory, a sealed imprint of a person, creature, event, or item lost to time — and now echoed through Void resonance.

Where Fateforged cards draw from personal trauma and the Deck of Threads fractures time, the Hollow Suit is about binding, channeling, and summoning. It is the deck of necromancers, archivists, relic-keepers, and voidwalkers.

🔐 **Core Mechanic: Memory Binding

Every Hollow Card is either:

  1. A Soulbind (calls a creature or person)
  2. A Memorybind (summons a past event or action)
  3. A Relicbind (conjures or mimics a forgotten item/artifact)

Cards require a Void attunement check to fully manifest — otherwise, they become unstable, partial, or drain the caster.

**WHAT IS A HOLLOW BINDING?

A Hollow Binding is a Void-forging ritual that transfers the essence of a soul, memory, or item into a card medium. Unlike Fateforged trauma-cards, Hollow Cards preserve what should not have survived — as echoes, phantoms, or possessed imprints.

Each Hollow Card is born of ritual, Void sympathy, and name recognition.

IV. HOW TO PERFORM A RITUAL

**SOULBIND (Echo Spirit)

  1. Defeat or commune with a dying spirit.
  2. Trace their name in blood or salt around the card medium.
  3. Speak the phrase: “You are remembered. You are bound.”
  4. Anchor with hair, ash, or item.
  5. Seal with breath, ink, or Void pulse.

**MEMORYBIND (Lived or Stolen Moment)

  1. Enter meditation with memory fully envisioned.
  2. Place card over your forehead or heart.
  3. Speak aloud what was lost, surrendered, or relived.
  4. Sacrifice a stat, bond, or ability for 1 day.
  5. Draw rune of memory spiral around the card to complete.

**RELICBIND (Physical Object)

  1. Place relic inside a tri-circle sigil (memory, name, death).
  2. Describe its final use, wielder, or purpose aloud.
  3. Infuse card medium with item shard or ashes.
  4. Burn or bury the original — only the echo remains.
  5. Etch a glyph of purpose or trigger word into the card back.
