After the fall of the first Choir-state, Michael and his followers rebuilt Tanal as a recursion-driven theocracy. During the Golden Age, the kingdom waged Light-cleansing wars against Kaedrith and its allies. In the modern age, Tanal remains a fractured echo of its former might — dangerous, decaying, and obsessed with reclaiming control through recursion and Light.
