"Where breath became law, and silence became god."
Auraleth is the sky-broken northern continent of Aethros — a frozen, ethereal expanse where angels once ruled, cities floated, and divine resonance shaped the land. It is a place of memory and mourning, a graveyard of heaven’s arrogance. Though much of its celestial beauty still lingers in ruins and rites, the land itself is fractured — split by recursion, ice, and ghostlight.

☾ Geography & Environment
Auraleth is a land of altitude and rupture — not of endless frost, but of broken highlands, storm-bitten ridges, and fractured godlight scars. The continent stretches from the corrupted crystal mesas of Tanal to the greenstone valleys of Kashern, ending at the floating altars and sacred skyplateaus of Costet. Each kingdom holds a piece of the continent’s wounded divinity — some bled into the land, some channeled into ritual. Snow and ice appear in pockets, especially near the Frostean Reach, also known in modern times as Ishvahnu, but most of Auraleth is forested, elevated, or sun-stone swept. The terrain hums with breathform echoes and old light — alive, cracked, and never still.
☾ Culture & People
Auraleth is home to the Seraveth, the divine-blooded who once ruled as god-chosen, and the cultures that survived their collapse.
- Seraveth still lead in Tanal, speaking divine law.
- Nyrraheli sing fog-songs along the coast.
- Ishvahni remain silent in the ruins.
- Kasherni reject the divine entirely.
Worship is now of memory, recursion, and breath — not gods.
☾ Magic & Combat
The land itself is charged, resonant, and dangerous. Light-aspected Breathforms, recursion echoes, and skyshard rites persist — each shaped by the Sundering’s scar.
- Light Breathforms dominate old Seraveth academies.
- Recursion magic folds time, voice, and memory.
- Skyshard rituals are still practiced in Weilah.
Combat is often conceptual: battles of will, name, and breath.

☾ History & Legends
Auraleth was once heaven’s throne.
- The First Sundering began in Solaeth.
- Raekho walked a frozen lake for 15 years in silence.
- Myths speak of hollow halos that rewrite souls.
Entire towns have vanished. Some believe Auraleth is only half real.
☾ Current Status
Tanal holds power but is fading. Solaeth is ruined. Kashern remains sovereign. Weilah prays. The Frostean Reach remains untouched.
Resistance songs rise. Recursive monks walk backwards through cities. Every faction seeks redemption, memory, or oblivion.
☾ Threats & Oddities
- The Pale Choir: sings forgotten futures.
- Glass Ghosts: made from shattered skybridges.
- Echo-Fangs: hunt only Seraveth-blooded.
- Light-Bleeding Trees: glow during eclipses, bleed ichor.
Some say during lunar eclipses, the land plays back your death.
